3x+8 Configuration Error: Bit 10

An illegal configuration was attempted. When this occurs configuration will

not be accepted by the module and this flag will be set. By using 4x register

bits 1 and 2 to set the module to status individual channels flags can be

checked to determine which channel or group is incorrect.

3x+8 Data Input Mode: Bits 11, 12

The module continuously outputs a group of eight registers worth of data.

The data for a given group can be paged between three modes. These are

the standard channel input data, channel status data or Time stamp data.

Bit 11 Bit 12 Input Modes

0 0 Data

0 1 Status

1 0 Time Stamp

3x+8 Group Select: Bits 13-16

These four bits are used to indicate which group of channels you have chosen

in the 4x configuration word.

0 0 0 0 Channels 1-8

0 0 0 1 Channels 9-16

0 0 1 0 Channels 17-24
